This is our most successful automatic washing line. Its compact, effective, economical & converts any dirty plastic waste to clean densified material directly without any human intervention. It is the most advanced plastic film waste grinding, washing, drying and densifying line. Just load the dirty film waste onto the auto load adjusting conveyor and get clean densified material on the other side in a continuous process.

Components of the system-

  • The machine is made up of three machines connected together in row running in synchronised manner. This leads to a fully automatic continuous processing system. The three components of the setup are-
    • A wet grinder
    • A friction washer
    • And a drying and densifying system

Drive system-

  • All three parts are driven by a pulley belt system, which reduces the shocks of high load and thus reducing damage in the long run.
  • Each rotor is carefully designed and precision balanced for minimised vibrations.
  • The feeding system adjusts to load of the wet grinder drive system and auto switches. This means that the input is maintained at optimum level and thus creating a constant material flow throughout the system

Grinding system-

  • Heavy rotor roller with rotating blades. The stationary blades are adjustable and easy to remove for re-sharpening.
  • Roller bearings mounted in external MS housing separated from the grinding chamber for easy maintenance.
  • Quick blade change access for minimised downtime.
  • The water inlet lies at the top part of the hopper pushing the material in with itself straight into the cutting blades.

Grinder construction

  • Heavy MS body with precision cut spaces for smooth operation.
  • Easy to re-sharp blades made out of hardened material for long life.
  • Auto load adjusted feeding conveyor (optional) for optimum output and reduced wear and tear
  • Easy to change screen for different output sizes.

Washing system-

  • The friction washer directly receives grinded wet plastic film waste from above. It is placed at a slant angle to create an opposite flow against water and improve washing quality.
  • The washing system is one of a kind high speed rotor thrashing the waste against the mesh to clear out the toughest of dirt stains.
  • The rotor has multiple thick flaps and is perfectly balanced for steady output and low vibrations.
  • The water is pressure injected on the top side and the dirty water exits the washer via a drain unit at the bottom. This is also the drainage point of the grinder, making it easier to feed dirty water into the filtration system (not included in the setup)
  • Clean and grinded plastic waste is ejected from the other end of the washer. This side is raised and the material directly falls into the feeder of the dryer / densification machine.

Washer construction-

  • The Rotor is made of MS with a protective anti-corrosion coating.
  • Surrounding mesh and other material / water contact parts are made of SS
  • The body is made up of heavy MS.

Drying and densification system-

  • The wet, grinded and clean plastic waste then enters the drying and densification machine, also known as SD.
  • The material is first squeezed to remove most of the excess water by a purpose built screw.
  • The Barrel lets the water out, collecting and discharging it through a pipe.
  • The material moves further and is semi melted above 100 degrees centigrade resulting in total evaporation and drying of material.
  • The plastic film material and then consequently densified and cut into small chunks.

Drying and densification construction-

  • Machined screw and barrel for optimum performance.
  • Heavy and robust MS body with precision cut spaces for smooth operation.
  • Strip heaters for the semi melting process along with a final material cutter for creating small chunks of densified clean film plastic waste.

How the plastic film waste fully automatic grinder, washing, drying & densifier machine works:

  • This machine setup only requires two human workers to run at a maximum continuous production rate. One is an operator / Loader while the other is a Loader / densified material packer
  • The dirty plastic film waste is loaded directly onto the conveyor (optional) which feeds the wet grinder at optimum rate by switching on / off based upon the material load
  • The dirty film waste is pushed through the throat of the grinder by gravity and a water inlet valve above. The material is ground to small pieces in presence of water which reduces the amount of dirt on the material.
  • The ground plastic film waste, still dirty, falls into the throat of the friction washer below. The high speed rotor carries the material in a slant manner against the flow of pressurized water spray. As the material is thrashed and cleaned against the mesh, all the dirt and grease is removed.
  • The dirty water from both the grinder and friction washer are discharged from a single outlet point directly below the throat of the friction washer.
  • Once the material is clean, it is ejected by the friction washer into the SD machine.
  • The material is first squeezed to remove most of the excess water by a purpose built screw.
  • The Barrel lets the water out, collecting and discharging it through a pipe.
  • The material moves further and is semi melted above 100 degrees centigrade resulting in total evaporation and drying of material.
  • The plastic film material and then consequently densified and cut into small chunks.
  • The SD outlet can be attached with an optional air tube to cool off and load the material into a cyclo / storage unit / another machine process, etc.
